BDporc presents its new platform at the MAPA headquarters.

The event is organized by the PAC Network together with the Sub-Directorate General for Livestock and Game Production.

BDporc is launching its new platform, featuring new functionalities and services better tailored to the needs of the swine sector. The new BDporc platform aims to assist the sector in decision-making to achieve more efficient, competitive, and sustainable pig production. This event will take place in person on September 16, 2026, in the Assembly Hall at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) in Atocha (Paseo de la Infanta Isabel, 1, Madrid).

Elena Busutil Fernández, Director General of Agricultural Production and Markets at MAPA, will open the event. Speakers will include Miguel Ángel Higuera, Director of Anprogapor; Ruth Morales López, Head of the Livestock and Game Production Area at MAPA; Raquel Quintanilla Aguado, an IRTA researcher; and Llibertat Tusell Palomero, Head of the Animal Breeding Program at IRTA. The event will conclude with a presentation by Simó Alegre Castellví, Director of Research and Innovation Development at IRTA.

During this Red PAC dissemination event, the new features of the BDporc tool will be showcased with the aim of:

• Demonstrating the functionalities available for different user profiles on the intranet.
• Presenting the new interactive interface for creating custom queries and reports to analyze and interpret company and farm data.
• Introducing the platform’s new analysis and benchmarking tools.

Finally, the event will feature a round-table discussion with sector representatives to discuss and gather proposals, needs, and expectations regarding BDporc.

The event is organized by the Red PAC in collaboration with the Sub-directorate General for Livestock and Game Production—both part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA).
