BDporc in numbers

BDporc houses and processes production data of almost a million sows, which represents around 50% of the national census. In 2015, bdporc went international, including production data from Portugal and Colombia.

Porc d'Or Awards

Consolidated as events of great importance for the pig sector, the Porc d'Or and Porc d'Or Ibérico awards are awarded annually to the best farms adhering to BDporc based on different categories and criteria related to the sustainable production, health, animal welfare and the environment.
