Basis for treatment:

  • Consent of the owner of the data to manage the transmission of information on events, courses and activities organized by IRTA as well as to manage the job bank.
  • Need to execute a contract for the management of registrations to sessions, conferences or training activities and the sending of the newsletter and other IRTA bulletins or publications.

IRTA, as responsible for the website, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter “RGPD”), and Law 34/2002 of 11 July, on services of the information society and electronic commerce (LSSICE), informs you that it has implemented the necessary security measures, technical and organizational, to ensure and protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data entered.

2.Purpose of the treatment

Your personal data will only be used for the following purposes, depending on the functionalities of the website with which you have interacted and provided your personal data:

  1. Manage the sending of information from the newsletter, other bulletins or publications, events, activities and information from IRTA, by electronic means or conventional mail to which you are subscribed.
  2. Manage the sending of information and registrations for training sessions, conferences or activities.

We will not process your personal data for any purpose other than those described herein except as required by law or court order.

3.Duration

The data corresponding to section a) above will be kept as long as the holder does not express his will to cancel them.

The data corresponding to paragraph b) above will be kept for the time necessary to carry out the activity.

Legitimacy of the treatment

The legal basis for the processing is the consent of the data subject and, if applicable, that derived from the provision of a service.

5.Place where the information is stored

The information provided is stored on IRTA’s servers or those of suppliers and data processing companies that have servers in the European Union or are covered by the Privacy Shield.

Assignment and transfer

The data provided may be transferred to bodies and companies of the public sector of the Generalitat and companies in charge of data processing (such as service providers: communication delivery services, messaging services, agencies, similar audience generation services, etc.), including companies in the EU.

International transfers outside the EU may also take place in accordance with the authorization and prior notification regime established by the regulations in force:

  • to countries or companies that are recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection; or
  • to countries that do not offer adequate protection, but transfers are governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Rights of interested persons

You may request the exercise of the following rights before IRTA by submitting a written request to the postal address on the header or by sending an e-mail to dpo@bdporc.es and attaching a photocopy of your ID card or any other document analogous in law, as indicated by law.

8.Rights

Right of access: allows the data subject to know and obtain information about his or her personal data undergoing processing.

Right of rectification or suppression: allows you to correct errors and modify data that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Right of cancellation: allows the deletion of data that is inadequate or excessive.

Right of opposition: the right of the data subject not to have his or her personal data processed or to have the processing of such data stopped.

Limitation of processing: involves the marking of the personal data retained, in order to limit their future processing.

Data portability: provision of the processed data to the data subject, so that he/she can transmit it to another data controller without hindrance.

The right not to be subject to automated individual decisions for which the data subject has not given his or her consent (including profiling).

The right not to be subject to a decision based on automated processing that produces effects or significantly affects.

Right to withdraw the consent given at any time.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if he or she believes that his or her data protection rights may have been violated.

9.Security

IRTA, in response to the trust placed in it and taking into account the importance in terms of protection and confidentiality required by the user’s personal data, informs you that it has adopted all the necessary technical and organizational measures to safeguard its security, as required by the current regulations governing the regulation of security means of files containing personal data.
