Xarxa X_Agritech

Innovation for more efficient and sustainable livestock farming

X_Agritech is the first Catalan network that connects agri-food research with the production sector. Coordinated by IRTA, it brings together 31 research groups from eight Catalan institutions. Its mission is to promote innovation, facilitate technology transfer, and encourage the adoption of advanced solutions in agriculture and livestock farming. With a focus on sustainability, biotechnology, and digital technologies, the network supports projects toward greater technological maturity and a real impact on the sector.

BDporc is part of the X_Agritech Network as one of its featured technology transfer projects, driven by IRTA and aligned with the network’s objectives and the “Networked Digital Farms and Ranches” initiative.

Within X_Agritech, BDporc is included among the “X_Agritech Solutions,” meaning it is one of the case studies used to demonstrate how a technology developed by the network is transferred and adopted in the sector.
